Headshot Day
We aim to bring ease and flow to our creative sector, to provide moments of care and support along the unwieldy journey of being an artist. Headshot Days at Effie House offer artists the opportunity to capture their essence in a single frame, at the affordable rate of $30 for one look + two edits.
Our artist in residence Owen Scarlett shoots this day, and it’s a BLAST.

JUMPSTART/LA
JUMPSTART/LA is a professional development series that is dedicated to supporting early and mid career artists in their endeavor to build a sustainable career in dance. Co-founded by Board Member Emily Wanserski with Gracie Whyte, and Laura Berg of Ground Grooves in 2022, this program informs dancers of the current avenues and job opportunities available to movement artists in LA, including information on key institutions, organizations, resource hubs, and entrepreneurial opportunities.
This summer, join our two day, à la carte program. Choose one day or commit to both.
